Railings & stairs
Wherever metal is used as a frame for a modern and beautiful building, it is sublimed into a presence that we, the producers, have never seen before through collaboration with various different materials, including the wood and concrete used in the building. In this project, too, we were overwhelmed by the presence of the finished building. The railings and corridors also serve as a framework for the building as a whole. Then, the function that the metal brings to it is a basic task with a high degree of difficulty because it is a matter of course: high-precision straight lines and surface treatment. It is really difficult to imagine this when the building is being manufactured in the factory, and it is essential to consciously look at various buildings to develop an image.
Window sills and railings
Frames and railings frame the generous space and solid glass surfaces tightly. In this project, we have incorporated a number of cutting-edge initiatives that are required because of the tremendously simple shape. Of course, all welding work is carried out using AICHI METAL’s invisible joint woodworking technique, which gives a beautiful finish to a simple shape. The work itself is also extremely simple, but requires skilled workmanship. Because of the high level of concentration required, these operations are often prone to error. We are proud to be able to provide a sense of tension and security at the time of delivery, which comes from the hands and eyes of the various skilled craftsmen employed by AICHI METAL at every stage of the work.
Unity brought to the staircase
The interior staircases are also our work. Here, we have tried to bring the same techniques used throughout the building and, above all, the same presence to the details. The skilled techniques used on the exterior of the building are combined with the wood on the interior of the building to create a soft and fluffy texture. This is an area in which we also feel the wonder of the design. In the overall paintwork, we have thoroughly addressed the peeling and durability of the paint by using thermal spraying technology. Various designations have been achieved, such as matt yet smooth areas and areas where the texture is deliberately left intact.
