OVERVIEW

Window sills & stairs & handles

1
Large Japanese Space.

The tension and beauty of Japanese space has an overwhelming presence in contemporary architecture. The concept of this project was to combine with the borrowed landscape of the garden, and therefore a strong focus on the window surfaces that cut through the scenery was evident. The window frames are not felt to be present. At the same time, durability and safety had to be ensured. The design aim was to create a transparent fusuma sliding door. In fact, the window surface depicts the handle of the sliding door, which has the effect of making the presence of the window frame disappear. It is an outstanding piece of work that is nothing more than a design tour de force.

Idea potential

Ideas can sometimes come to a person with knowledge and experience in any number of ways. However, if they cannot be realised, the ideas themselves have little meaning. It is only possible to realise it. Or you have to have the power to do so. When this frame is made in the factory, it is just a metal frame made of stainless steel with a specified paint finish. Nevertheless, there were many meetings about its texture. After all, this design idea is the biggest expression and the heart of this space. Therefore, there was a tension in the very process of embodying the idea. We believe that this is another important quality of AICHI METALS, being able to respond firmly to this process with the technology and ideas to realise it.

Modern and cutting-edge items.

Apart from the large Japanese-style space, the property also features a futuristic glass and metal staircase and balustrade. The gradual, yet luxurious use of space and the arc of the staircase and the glass corridor leading to it and the marble floor below give the impression of modernist architecture from the UK or other countries. AICHI METAL’s technology was also used in abundance in the production of the large arc-shaped balustrade and the huge metal components. Even the paintwork is finished with a high degree of care and attention to detail, and the glass surfaces also demand thorough quality in terms of the finish and durability of the small edges.
