Greetings from the President
In 1926, my grandfather, Seiichi Takai, founded the Takai Ironworks Limited Partnership in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture. My grandfather was a man of ideas and created machines that were useful to people one after another.
However, he was so absorbed in his work that he forgot to collect the money he owed, and his grandmother, aunt, mother and other family members had a hard time running the kitchen of the company and their families. I remember very little of my grandfather, but I am convinced that the roots of finding the potential of metal, which run through my body, came from him.
For us, exploration means first of all to enjoy metals to the fullest. We take everything that we find strange or difficult and turn it into a skill and express it. However, it is not all fun and games. It is a constant struggle. Sometimes an unfamiliar technique holds the key, and sometimes there are hints in past efforts. But we never stop this exploration.
This simple but difficult fact is the identity of AICHI METALS. Our company was founded as a window sash processor.
The beginning of our present incarnation was almost 15 years ago. When we were commissioned to build and deliver an indoor metal staircase, we were strongly criticised by the client. I still remember his words: "I don't want to bring into the house a staircase that is used outside". The key point was the welding surface. I am proud to say that the welding surface was clean enough from a normal welding surface, but it was far from a beautiful finish. In exploring this issue, we came up with the wood joinery technique, which we were able to put into practice and solve. This has led us to our current journey.
What we don't have, we make. What we have, we make better. This mindset cannot be acquired just by waiting for orders. It is essential to have the desire to discover and develop it yourself. There is no end to the possibilities offered by the beauty and flexibility of metals. We have the ability to acquire unique technologies born from the application of technologies from different fields and a track record of patent applications. Please do not hesitate to contact us. Our Factories

Headquarters
This office houses the president's office and accounting members and is attached to the main factory. The 2nd floor is the VeroMetal showroom. *The VeroMetal showroom is currently located on the 2nd floor of the West Office ( Westwall ).

Head office plant area, Floor 1.
The main operations include bending, assembly and welding. The team also handles some of the pre-treatment for painting, and is the team that retains the most sheet metal processing features within AICHI METAL.

Head office plant area, Floor 2.
This space is used for managing, cutting and sorting metal materials. It is also the first process of set-up, such as organising materials and sorting them by application.

Head office, 1F process control area
Process control of factory production and construction is carried out here. It is used for factory production meetings and MTGs for design and sub-committee meetings.

Head Office 2F Terrace
This is a space for AICHI METAL staff to chat. Time passes in a relaxed atmosphere.

A space for AICHI METAL staff to take a break and have a meal.

Research and Training Area
This is where the seeds of services not yet offered, such as decoration, coating and material research, are planted. It is a laboratory where ideas are put into practice day and night. This area is also used for VeroMetal technical training.

Packaging Area
This area is used for final checks of the finished products and for careful packaging and pre-delivery preparations. It is located in the same area as the tool management area and the vis management area.

Tool Management Area
This area is built up through the continuation of thorough 5S activities. While updating the company rules, tool-related matters that ensure quality are handled with care and error-free content.

Bis Management Area
This is an area next to the tool management area. Screws and other tools are not only insufficient, but also come in various sizes, materials and other types. The area is designed to be easy to understand and manage, and is used in the pursuit of quality.

Westwall (in the West Plant area)
The impressive rusting of the metal is used as it is on the wall surface of the West Wall. It is located next to the car park.

Oval Room / Round Room (in the West Factory area)
This room is divided by an impressive glass wall and can accommodate more than 10 people or about 4 people. Everything from the tables to the walls is constructed from items selected or manufactured by the company.

A dedicated room for photographing a variety of products and finished products.

West section of the main factory
The West Plant is equipped with a furnace, where thermal spraying and other surface treatments are carried out. It is also a place where items researched within AICHI METALS are put into practice, making it an environment where new initiatives are easily implemented.

Factory 2
The second factory is the place for specialists in coating and surface finishing. Today, the factory handles a wide range of surface treatments and decorations on a variety of metal materials, with a particular focus on VeroMetal.

On-site installation / Construction department
Products manufactured by AICHI METAL are installed at various sites. We basically carry out the installation ourselves. The installation process includes strength treatment for wall installation and the best installation method to provide our customers with peace of mind.
