Whole building
When the space increases vertically, it is the staircase that plays the role of connecting each room = space. At the same time, using the same material as the staircase for the room frames creates a sense of unity throughout the space. This project was commissioned to us with the design intention of connecting them with metal. The stairwell runs from the ground floor to the third floor, where a steel staircase hangs over it. By using this steel material for the inward-facing window frames on the second floor, a huge space concept with a sense of unity is revealed. With such a large staircase made of steel, the weight is naturally very high. It can be seen from this part alone that the entire building is a very high-strength structure.
Wood and metal
On the other hand, the entire space is filled with a warm atmosphere based on wood. The impressive arrangement of the window surfaces there creates a good impression with the metal. Since our components are employed there, the impression value created by the collaboration of material textures was a great learning experience. The solid black steel used for the window surfaces creates an impression of strength that gives a sense of security and trust. In this property, each level has a clear role to play, and the individual components are used to create the space. The materials – wood, steel and stone – are used to convey the intention of each space, and this is a great design match.
Metal Attraction
Metal is used throughout, from the gate to the window facades that separate the space from the outside. The house is seen from the outside as a modern concrete structure. The presence of metal when looking up from the inside not only gives the house a sense of massiveness, but also enhances the overall modernity of the building, which is a design intention that is beautifully realised. There are a variety of metal materials, all of which can be tenfold or twentyfold more attractive when the right materials are put to good use. We are not professionals in spatial design, but there are professionals who choose us. The building is a space that they have drawn up. The intention behind the metal used in the building.
