To begin with, staircases are truly magical. They are essential for moving between different floors and have the extraordinary value of transforming two-dimensional movement into three-dimensional movement. By the act of going up and down we can also experience the presence of gravity. The meaning of stairs in human society is profound. That is why staircases are also important in terms of strength, quality, and value of existence. To begin with, sturdiness is a must. Not only do people put their full weight on them, but they also run up and down them. They may also be used for carrying loads or by multiple people. For all of these, it must continue to support them with complete security. The function required for the existence of staircases is also linked to the safety and security of our people.
One-stop process management.
Among the many staircases we have worked on, this is the first time we have done so. The staircase was decorated with a beautiful copper finish. The simple shape of the staircase itself made the decorative metal treatment stand out. At first, we only delivered the metal-treated plates, but eventually we were involved in the installation as well, and as a result, we were able to develop all the components for the staircase. We are grateful to the client and the design team for their spirit. The fact that we were able to take on the entire project allowed us to perfect the staircase itself. In terms of safety, it was a great advantage to be able to verify the staircase, including its temporary assembly in the factory. When considering the safety performance required for the staircase, we felt more secure when we were able to perform all verification in-house. In particular, this time, we thought it was necessary to consider the surface treatment depending on the compatibility with the decorated metal, which made the finishing process much easier.

Stairs are, in a sense, a big thing. However, I also feel that there is a growing tendency to want them to be as unobtrusive and light as possible. This time, however, we wanted the staircase to have a full presence, and in a sense, an object-like luster. In this space, which has a face of a lounge, the presence of this staircase was enhanced to create a good tension in the atmosphere of the entire space. The treatment was standard: copper was sprayed on the structural steel, polished, and then the surface was prepared with VeroMetal, but because of its size, a different sense of presence was created. As always, the design intent is realized only after completion, and this time the space was again full of surprises.
