OVERVIEW

Handrails & Stairs

Invisible metal quality.

This project was a good example of how glass handrails can be used to create an impression on the exterior of a house. Glass handrail is a preferred component because of its superior design and functionality, but it is also quite difficult to handle. In addition to its design significance, it is also an expression of the house itself, so the durability of the frame that holds the glass in place is an item that requires great attention to quality. In this case, the strength of the joint surfaces was key, as was the length of the frame, and we also had to ensure that the frame would not be damaged or scratched during transportation, so we placed great importance on quality in areas that are not visible to the eye. In terms of the entire property, we also manufactured the stairs and rooftop railing, so we made sure to confirm the internal flow of materials as we brought them in.

Brush up on in-plant management

There is no "completion" in updating the flow in a factory. It is a process that is constantly being updated in a fluid manner. This is due in part to the fact that AICHI METAL is a processing company. This is also due to the fact that AICHI METAL is a processing company, and no two orders are ever the same. Even if the shape is the same, the ideas may have changed based on the knowledge gained from a project we worked on a while ago. This makes the ideas richer and allows them to be realized more quickly and with higher quality than the last time. The countless projects we have worked on leading up to this one are constantly evolving our workflow itself. It must be our daily routine to convert this benefit into quality and deliver it to our clients. How much sweat we put in behind the scenes of the finished house. And how much can we evolve? When I look at the components of the houses I have been involved with, these thoughts come to mind as memories and reminders.

Carefully finished by human hands

Our factory is not equipped with a lot of state-of-the-art equipment. In fact, to the casual observer, it may look strange to see a hodgepodge of old machines. This is because we understand that, in the end, it is the human eye and hand that are the most important factors in achieving a variety of shapes, colors, and finishes. Of course, beautiful standard products produced by advanced machines are wonderful. However, we believe that it is people who can carefully respond to unique ideas. For this reason, we are a group of craftsmen, and we have an environment where craftsmen can hone their skills. We are also equipped with the most advanced "tools" for craftspeople to use, with an emphasis on the old but unique feel of the tools. We often walk around looking for and discovering the taste that can only be produced by old machines that are on the verge of disappearing in the modern age. Of course, there is no greater joy than discovering this machine as a tool. Every project we work on is filled with human passion. Although our deliverables are merely a component of architecture, we hope that you will see them as such.
